Jeffrey Bernard is a patent attorney with Suiter Swantz IP. Jeff graduated with honors from Virginia Tech, receiving his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Jeff received his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
Jeffrey S. Bernard joined Suiter Swantz IP as a patent attorney in 2020. Jeff provides intellectual property services for a wide variety of industries and technologies including aircraft cabin components, fiber optic connectors and hardware, additive manufacturing equipment, pump and valve assemblies, medical devices and solar arrays, among others. Jeff focuses his intellectual property practice on obtaining patent rights in the US and abroad, freedom-to-operate investigations, infringement investigations, intellectual property due diligence for corporate transactions, landscape investigations, performing trademark clearances, obtaining trademark rights in the US and abroad, and IP-related strategic business planning.
