Chad W. Swantz is a patent attorney and co-owner of Suiter Swantz IP. Chad graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, a Juris Doctor of Law from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha.
Chad joined the Firm as a Law Clerk and became a Member in 2004. Chad’s practice has allowed him to pursue his interests in technology and law. Chad’s Patent Practice involves multi-national clients in the fields of energy, electrochemistry, software, communication, computing devices and data storage. His practice includes technology protection advisement along with preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications.
Chad manages the trademark practice for the Firm which includes trademark creation and development, domestic and foreign trademark registration, trademark defense and trademark enforcement.
Chad is admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys cookery, physical fitness, and sports.
